Curves are gorgeous! We have brides come in all the time asking us to show them dresses that will "give them a figure" ie, give me some curves! Curves are feminine and womanly. And, let's just be honest, people pay for those.A wedding gown isn't something to hide behind! It's just about finding the right gown for your body to accentuate in the right places!
Just because you are naturally curvy doesn't mean you can't wear something fitted. Fitted gowns are great on girls with curves!If you feel comfortable with something fitting through your hips and you want to achieve an hourglass silhouette, look for styles with rouching, especially across the tummy and hips, to give you a sleek and trim look. The rouching will provide great coverage and hug you in all the right places!
If you are a shorter bride, look for gowns that will elongate your torso and with a with a slimmer cut, like a sheath or slim a-line that will lengthen you and make you look taller. Also try out gowns that are trumpet shaped. Avoid super full ball gowns, especially ones that are only fitted through your natural waist as they tend to make you look shorter and cut you in half.
Every bride should feel amazing on her wedding day and love what she is wearing. Your glow will come from knowing you look like a million bucks! Find something that makes you feel fantastic and then work it!
