Nothing portrays elegance and romance like the soft whisper of blush on a glowing bride. Recently on the market we've seen the novelty of blush colored wedding gowns becoming the choice of many a bride. Believe it or not, white (or ivory now days) was not always the shade of choice for ladies when it came to picking their wedding frock. Brides would often marry in very bold colors (sometimes even black!) often pairing it with velvets, furs and silks. The wedding that changed it all in the bridal world was that of Queen Victoria to her cousin, Albert of Saxe, in 1840. She rocked the bridal fashion world of that day by wearing a white gown which at that time was never done. It goes without saying that we love all shades of white for a wedding gown; yet, at the same time we are very excited to welcome back a bit of color to our salon and to your wedding.
This lovely gown is from our Stephen Yearick collection
