A Fabulous Find.

Hello Ladies,

Bridesmaids dresses can sometimes be the hardest part of the apparel side of your wedding. All those shapes, sizes and personalities to please! Around here we prefer that you not worry about your girls wearing their dresses again or being totally in love with it. Though it is important to make sure to be accomodating to everyone, this day is about you and your groom. Pick a dress that compliments your dress, wedding theme and is in a color that you love. Remember, you will be looking at those wedding party pictures much more frequently in the passing years then your bridesmaids will. :) In light of this, don't be afraid to go outside the box and do something a little less traditional. Like different dress styles, necklines, even different complimentary colors!
The idea of the matching bridesmaids dress is actually drawn from roman times. It was believed that evil spirits would attend the event and curse the couple, so to prevent this, ten couples were required to match the bride and groom to confuse the spirits and bring blessing upon the couple. So unless you still believe in roman tradtion, you will probably be ok to venture out from the traditional matching look! *wink*
